K-On!

This is my latest obsession on the net. K-On! is a super nice anime, if you like anime, band, high schoolers, blur queen characters and the never ending good anime music.

seriously, i've never seen such a nice music anime since i watched Nodame Cantabile. While that one was about piano and orchestra, which is more on the classical music side; K-On! is more about band, drums, guitars, bass, and a keyboard, which is definitely on the rock music side. Another music (+ shoujo) anime is the famous NANA. That, too, has great music, but because its too long, and the girlish nana kinda gets on my nerves, and i dont really like the style they draw the "sweat" emoticons (the sweat hangs directly in the middle of their brows), i din finish the series. But K-on? its totally a hit!

Dont get me wrong, there are no punk Mohawk in the anime, well there is, but they only appear for like 20 minutes. So they arent any big troubles if you dun like mohawks. The main band in the series is a super cute all-girl band, formed to continue the Kei On club (light music club -> direct trans), with the band name of Afterschool Tea Time. Cute, right?

The music in the series is awesome too! Although the names are a bit weird, it brings out the cute side of Anime Music. haha.

This is the Ending of the first season of the anime. Belive me, it reminds me or Lost My Music from Haruhi Suzumiya cause the quality is damn the same! BOTH GREAT!! :) 


This is probably the best song from the series. But the rest are great too! I especially like how the guitarist sings Fuwa Fuwa Time. Its addictive! haha.
