Nursing

Is 
Nursing = Dirty, bloody, maid-like job, a course which has low requirements, wipe-ass, smelly old people
Or
Nursing = Most respectful job, loving, caring, "sacrifice-myself-for-you", honorable?

Dont know, dont care. i just know i choose it and i love it. So BIG MUACKS NURSES! haha.

Its not really that dirty, you wear gloves most of the time unless you want some disease or infection until you got maggots on your wounds, you wash your hands until the patients' relatives stare at you like one kind and you just smile and look back with the "oh-well, what to do?" face, your hands got really dried even after a 3 weeks posting, you need plenty of hand cream, there might be splashes of blood, or when you assist the doc for some invasive procedure, even the flesh/mucous lining might come out, its bright red, its dripping blood... So? and i enjoyed seeing the blood OMG IM SUCH A VAMPIRE. Haha not la, it keeps me alert. VERY ALERT. Mouth-to-mouth CPR? well you'll need to do it sometimes, but its across a sheet so you're not really kissing some unknown people. Haha, and hospitals have code blue team. so no worries for that =P

Its not really the most respectful and honorable job. Cause to me, the fire figthers are. i can stand the stove fire hotness, ok even the small camp fire heat when we played masak2 last time, but not the whole building burning heat. And you might die! for nurses, unless there is something like H1N1 or SARS or dunno, maybe you got HepB from patients (which i would say, stupid, dunno how to protect yourself), you dun have to sacrifice yourself! you just work for hours, surrounded by people, helping people, smile, got really stressed out, but still SMILE, and go home, sleep the whole day, wake up, go to work again.

Nursing is my first choice when applying the joint polytechnic admission exercise, which is also my ONLY application after i get my SPM result. like gamble. A big gamble which i put every hope in. And poof! i got it! Yay. Haha. And if it requires low requirement and are meant for poor results people, why am i so stressed up seeking medic terms  in the net/dictionary? Every course you learn something. In nursing i learnt to be myself. Haha its a self-searching journey. ;) couldnt see myself as anything else now. Im going to be a nurse, maybe a nursing lecturer next time. who knows?

Male nurses in scrubs! As hot as doctors in scrubs eh? haha. The last student nurse looks damn fierce though.. T_T and are male nurses allowed to keep facial hair? WOW! haha. then why cant we put down fringes? =P Trying to be rebellious here. haha.
