Officially a Year 2 Nursing Student

I have the books today.. the modules are quite challenging..  We have 6 modules now, one more to come very soon.. Still thinking what to take. We have 4 weeks of class now, then two weeks of O&G attachment, and two weeks of peadiatrics attachment. Two months from now, i'll be heading home for a two-week break, then i'll be in school again for another 6 weeks, then its final exam. hmm. So basically we have 10 weeks of classes instead of the previous 14 weeks, until we have exams. Hmm. Guess it would be hard to squeeze time especially during attachment period. Well all the best to everyone for now..

we have Adult Nursing. JUST IN CASE! you are thinking the ADULT NURSING that appears to you as s*x or anything to do with it, get over it! its not that! we learn proper things ok.. dun relate the word ADULT to anything that contains sexually appealing elements. Haha.

And we have Pharmacology, which is about how different class of drugs work.. prescription, side effects, umm, maybe a little bit of alien chemistry equations? Dunno, havent check on the book yet, first class would be on Thursday.


Biology, as usual..


Nursing Lab, usual's usual.. but we have 6 hours a week! Ouch, thats a lot! Haha, and i'll be starting my week in a cold simulation-kind-of-thing's floor, learning about needles and injection. Sweet! :) No, seriously, sweet!! :)

And a very interesting module for this sem is Mental Health Nursing.. The lecturer for this module is seriously like umm.. cool. Like as if she herself is from mental health hospital or whatever.. Haha, just joking, anyway she was great! Listening to her class will never make you sleep. But somehow creeps you out. Watch out LOL.

For the psychology part of this sem would be Abnormal Psychology and Behavioral Modification, which seemed to be interesting cause at the same time we're studying Mental Health.. So can sort of like.. learn here to learn there.. learn there then learn here.. what am i talking about. URGH..

anyway the last one module would be an elective one, which we will register on wednesday night, Guess what? i dunno what to choose cause the one that i've chosen, appears to be, SO SUI, not be offered. Which means i'll be choosing again.. Saded..

The time table for this sem is quite ok.. Not so much breaks in between compared to last sem, but we have 2 days of half day, and Friday, again, is all lectures and no tutorials and labs. Yay. But will be expecting a lot of absentees. Haha.. Bad bad.. LOL.. Aiming for a higher GPA for this sem.. Hope can.. Higher than the first sem.. :)

If i really can get higher than that, :) i'll treat myself with this! haha.
