Day 17 — Someone from your childhood

Dear lovely cousins and bro,

We all grow up together. I sometimes can still picture us playing with sticks, pots, weird ingredients, and fire. Beside us, a few dogs rest with a bored face under the tree. One of them is my dearest Xiao Bai.

I can remember we went to the river downhill from ama's house, bringing folded paper boats, a stick in our hands and a dog. We played lots of stuffs together. Doing crazy wild things.

We went to the farm together early morning just to watch sunrise. We climbed down the deep broad drain outside the gate, and hides there so that the adults wont find us. raking leaves together, building own's castle made of mud and sticks, feeding chicken (and chasing them at the same time), compete to see who gets the most beautiful peacock fish from the fish tank behind the house, watched horror late night and ended up talking till its dawn, take a stroll down the path and at the same time slapping the mosquitoes which keep disturbing us....

there are so much more. We played with earthworms, catch ants, watch wild parrot visiting the farm when my uncle plants corn, play house with real fire, competing who gets the fire set up the fastest, ordering the younger ones to collect dry sticks on a rainy day (that is basicaly imposisble), collecting seeds of the rubber trees and all those.

All i've long for my childhood, you guys gave it to me. I pretty much grow up as a kampung girl. And honestly, im proud of it. im proud of you guys too. The eldest of us is going to be a reasearcher at dunno where, then its me, going to be a nurse in 1 years time, and then its yongxin, future best physiotherapist in the hospital, and the rest, i think you guys havent quite found your callings, but hey, wouldnt it be fun to have everyone in the hospital? we have a lab person now, a nurse, a physiotherapist. we still lack a doctor, a speech therapist, a pharmacist, a radiographer, and umm... yeap, an occupational therapist.

How cool. The family's hospital crew! Haha, dun worry people, not gonna, and never will force you guys into something you dun want to be. Thats so uncool.
