confusion

I always thought that in a multiracial country like malaysia (or even singapore), people of the same ethnicity should stick together no matter what and there shall be no conflict among them. Cause if you fail, people attack you easily. See, as a malaysian myself i have to sense of union. not to my own country people of the different race. Cause i grew up in a chinese school. Everywhere is Chinese. Every speech i listened, competitions i enter, are all about the chinese education and chinese society. When i was in primary, i seriously thought that there will be no malays in my life *which is super wrong cause i already had one malay classmates last time =/*.. Once i thought that the chinese society and chinese school will be my area forever. then i went into a malay sec school *OMG i almost typed sex school.. WTF typo* and find myself in a sea of people with different skin colour. and i began to mix with malays, indians and non-chinese-educated chinese..

And slowly i began to address people using english names even if they are chinese.

But still, i stick with chinese and hang out with them. cause i thought a race should always be together.. And now see what has happened in the politics field. Maybe this isnt the first case, i dun care. but people of the same race is attacking their own kind.. Ok we are all the same kind, we're malaysian, i know.

What is so fun about seeing politicians attacking each other? I might as well attack people in castle age and watch anime. Oh yea, and pringles too.

I dunno why am i saying this. i just saw some primary friend's facebook profile, cant even recognize them in the photo, because to me they stay the same from the faces i know in primary time. It's a kind of damn nostalgic feeling when you see the little boy who once sit with you in class, now is displaying current location as Aus or some college in KL. Weirdly, though, i can still remember their names including surnames correctly. and even still knows how to write it. Im not that bad with name, eh? But not with faces. not when they changed so much.
